Condo Owners Reciprocal Exchange (CORE) is an admitted insurance company that initially specialized in commercial residential policies and has since expanded into homeowners insurance in Florida. Sponsored by HCI Group, a publicly traded company (NYSE: HCI) and one of the top property insurance providers in the state, CORE was established with the support of HCI’s advanced technology, underwriting expertise, and infrastructure, which enabled successful policy assumptions during its early development.
CORE is a policyholder-owned reciprocal insurer. CORE has earned a Financial Stability Rating® of A, Exceptional, from Demotech, Inc. Starting in February 2024, CORE successfully assumed policies from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
